On Alert
I have several family members and friends whom over the years have needed to wear medical alert bracelets. The thing about them is that although they are a necessity for some folks, you also want them to be stylish and fit in with your existing wardrobe. I've gotten a lot of requests from people asking for recommendations to accomplish both these feats: 1) Displaying the required information and 2) Being fashionable enough as to not detract from their existing wardrobe or jewelry.
Well, I've been searching and I did find a few options available that would mix well with stacking bracelets or layered necklaces while still containing all the pertinent information. I also wanted to find medical alert solutions that had a bit more subtle appearance making them perfect for layering.
A word of caution though...If you require medical alert jewelry; consider wearing it by itself. Perhaps on the wrist you without a stack party? Remember, in case of an emergency, the responding medics need to be able to find the necessary information quickly!
