Shopping Round Up!

Ok, I admit it.  Like a good portion of the rest of the population, I love to online shop.  I regularly find myself surfing the internet looking for unique jewels that aren't going to give my bank account a heart attack.

Well, I thought I'd share a few of my favorite finds with you that are still available (and all under $1,000!) from some of my favorite online shopping haunts.  I mean, just in case you didn't spend all your extra cash on fireworks this past weekend...

Ruby Lane
What I like about Ruby Lane is that it's a 'buy it now' kind of online jewelry shopping experience.  Unlike auction sites (one of which I have listed later on in this post), Ruby Lane has a nice selection of antique and vintage fine jewelry that you can purchase right away from it's vast cadre of sellers without having to wait for an online auction to end.

These 9K yellow gold garnet drop earrings are from Bird of a Wire Antiques, $425.  Personally, I love garnets.  I think that this pair just seem to have such a rich, lovely color to them.

I always get excited when I can find a vintage wedding band for my collection & this beauty is no exception!  An 18k white gold diamond wedding band / stacking ring from Bygone Bijiox is a great buy because at this price even if it's not your size, you can easily have it sized to fit & still have a bargain, $125.

I love this Victorian Carved Lava Cameo brooch in 12k yellow gold from Antiques & Uncommon Treasure, $336.  I've always been fascinated by cameos but I think that my personal favorites are lava cameos as opposed to traditional shell or onyx ones.  The rustic feel of the lava is such a contrast to the fine detail present in the carving itself.

1st Dibs
A site where you can purchase some truly stunning fine jewelry online, 1st Dibs is the online marketplace to some of the top antique and estate fine jewelry stores.  The site allows you to narrow your search parameters extensively thereby making it easy to wade through the thousands of available pieces.

This classic link bracelet is 14kt yellow gold is better known as 'Mariner's Link' from Kanner's Jewelry, $975.  I can definitely picture this bracelet layered with other chunky pieces for a casual, funky feel.

A stunning example of Art Nouveau French workmanship, this Sterling Gilt Repousse Slide Locket is from A. Brandt + Son Antique & Estate Jewelry, $695.  The red enamel on this piece is stunning, as well as the facial detail in the center circle.

I am lusting after this ring from Wayne Smith Jewels!  It is an ebony & shell ring with an 8mm center turquoise in yellow gold, $495.  This ring has "summer-at-the-beach" written all over it!  Perfect with flip flops, shorts & a crocheted top.  Adorable!

Etsy
What makes Etsy different from the previously listed sites is that it not only can you search through various sellers for vintage fine jewelry, but you can also search a selection of handmade and one-of-a-kind pieces from artisans all over the world.  And....many sellers will take custom orders through the 'convo' function.

This 14K yellow gold Seashell Diamond Ring is created by NoaSharon Designs & features a choice of diamond, emerald, sapphire or ruby stone, prices start at $743.15.  This ring is currently on sale for NoaSharon Designs' Christmas in July sale through the 22nd.  Can't you just picture this cute little ring stacked with a grouping of other nature or sea-inspired designs?!

I love this rose cut Diamond Flower Necklace in 14k rose gold from Melanie Casey Jewelry, $625.  I'm a huge fan of rose cut diamonds & the daintiness of this necklace really allows the diamonds to show off.  Plus, rose gold for summer time...What more can you say but PERFECT!

These are such a beautiful pair of 1920's estate 14k white gold, emerald & diamond earrings from Danielle's Collection, $944.99.  The natural emeralds are just the most amazing color of spring grass green; really an adorable pair of earrings!

eBay
Last but not least, a site you probably already know.  If you have the patience for a more auction style site then eBay is perfect and you can find some real deals.  Of course, there are some sellers who offer a 'Buy it Now' option.

I love this traditional, vintage 18K white gold princess cut ruby & diamond Eternity Band from luvmydiamond, buy-it-now $895.  I collect vintage wedding bands to mix-&-match as stacking rings or midi rings.  This is a perfect example of why I am obsessed with these rings...I love diamonds but a little bit of color is the perfect addition!

I am loving this 14k yellow gold diamond-cut Greek Key Bangle from Estate_Sales_Finds is perfect for summer & layering, buy-it-now $225.  I'm picturing this layered with an awesome horn bangle & a few thin, dainty types of bangles plus an over-sized men's watch...delicious!

This 14k white gold navette style ring with 1+ ct. of pave set diamonds is from The World of Fine-Junque, current bid $495.  These vintage pave rings are just too fun!  They remind me of a disco ball & I love layering them together for an even larger statement look!
