Stunning Deliveries - Emerald & Platinum Band!

So everyone knows that my favorite metal is platinum.  It's not that I don't like gold...I do.  In fact, I have several pieces in white and/or yellow gold.  And, I love to mix all my metals together.

But...I just really love the gunmetal color of platinum!  Mix that with the spring grass green of natural emeralds and Ooh-la-la!  C'est magnifique!  And this Stunning Delivery from Bird on a Wire Antiques is perfect to add to my collection of vintage and antique wedding bands!

Isn't the color of the platinum a perfect match for the emeralds?!

This lovely piece features 50 sparkling green natural emerald faceted stones that are bead-set around the band, making this a full eternity ring. The color of the emeralds is so amazing!  The slim band was made by a U.S. designer, Danhov, and probably dates to the 1980's; so although it's not an antique (meaning 100 years or older), it is a lovely vintage (less than 100 years old) ring that I am so excited about!

The neon green of the natural emeralds is just so much more stunning than some of the shades of green that you find in commercially manufactured or enhanced/treated emeralds!  Sometimes, the beauty is in the flaws of the stone & not in the perfection!

This stunning, narrow little band looks great with my collection of other antique and vintage platinum wedding bands!  It's just the pop of color my collection needed!  Now, on to search for a platinum band with rubies, sapphires, garnets, pearls......The list can go on and on and on!

Yes, I think it will fit in nicely!
