Smitten - Aroc Urtu

I know I haven't done a "Smitten" feature in a while.  But, to be honest, I was just looking for a really, super unique designer that I thought really had something different and maybe even a bit bohemian to kind of kick the warmer weather off right!

Well, I think I found what I was looking for at Aroc Urtu!  

Pronounced "a rock 'er two," it's the brainchild of Lauren Bergman.  Lauren's background in jewelry design features a resume of some of the most recognizable names in the world of fine jewelry.  After completing her studies at Parsons, The Art Students League and the Fashion Institute of Technology, she began designing for clients such as Judith Leiber and Harry Winston.  Her creations have been showcased in the windows of Tiffany & Co., DeBeers, Cartier, Harry Winston and Bulgari.  

So when I stumbled upon Aroc Urtu, I was certain that I'd found exactly what I was looking for: high-quality, designer pieces at shockingly affordable prices with enough boho chic attitude to go with anything you might see this summer from the standard LBD to the always stylish white tank and jeans!  I hope that you enjoy these pieces as much I do!

A sliced emerald measuring approximately 6/10 of an inch top to bottom is enhanced with 14K white gold flower charm that has .15ct of diamonds in total. It hangs on a 14K yellow gold handmade loop, 16 inch iolite & labradorite chain with a sterling silver hook clasp, $625.  This is a perfect spring/summer necklace!

A rutilated quartz is is embedded with a .07 carat champagne diamond in a 14K white gold mounting, $1,125.  This is a beautiful design & has such a feminine look without being overly "girly."  I think I might be in love!

This is a beautiful design & certainly makes my "I'd-Wear-This-Every-Day" List!  I think this is an amazing design & is so versatile that you can't go wrong.  A single black beach stone is accented by an embedded champagne diamond.  This stone hangs on an 18K jump ring surrounded by two eye-catching 18K gold beads.  It hangs on a leather cord with two slipknots, allowing it to be extended anywhere from 16-28 inches, $287.

Cast in a special alloy of 10K rose gold, the feather is attached to an oxidized 16 inch sterling silver chain with adiamond briolette that gracefully swings from the feather, $350.  Each piece is one of a kind &, as a result, the diamond colors will vary.

A natural, untreated emerald is a hefty 8 carats & is embedded with a sparkly .07 carat champagne diamond, set in 14K yellow gold, $750.  I love these designs with the embedded diamonds in them. Stunning!

This is one of my all-time favorites from Aroc Urtu!  It is on my "I-Must-Have-It" List for sure; talk about a statement piece!  Cast in Aroc Urtu's special alloy of raw brass, this unique horizontal horn necklace is set with three sparkly diamonds totalling .10 carats on sterling silver cable chain.16" in length, $275.

A natural Watermelon Tourmaline slice combined with the flash & dazzle of a full cut diamond. Dangling below from delicate 14K yellow gold chain are a ruby bead, a green tourmaline drop & a pure 24K gold seed, $920.
